Here’s our entry to CDNOP! Would be strange if we didn’t get something out, eh?

These are bullets! :

  • If we actually had prepared, or even
  • had show notes for you, these bullets
  • would contain wonderful link-baity snippets designed
  • to get both you and search engines interested, all without
  • offending people or making fun of minority groups.
  • PAB2011 videos are here

Happy CDNOP!!

Today’s the day!

DECEMBER 1 IS THE SECOND (GREAT) CANADIAN NATIONAL DAY OF PODCASTING

This was so much fun last year, let’s do it again!

Here are the guiding principles :

- Put out a show! Dormant? Retired? Doesn’t matter – Do it!
- Don’t need to invent or reinvent anything. Just do a show like you used to – or something new, up to you. It’s all good.
- Reach out to “retired” producers. Spread the word.
- Don’t have a site anymore? Send us the audio – we’ll host it!
- Tag; #CDNOP
On December 2nd-ish, we’ll post a (hopefully massive) list of all the participating shows on Canadian Podcast Buffet – to be sure you haven’t missed any.
Les francophones sont invités a participer aussi, envoyer-nous vos liens!
Keep your earbuds on, this is going to be fun once again!

DISCUSSION WITH MARK POIRIER (from April 2009)

Our guest on this week’s show is Friday night kickoff keynote speaker, IMAX Director of Photography Mark Poirier. Screen shot 2011-06-21 at June 21 11.24.20While Mark battled his spotty connection at the “No Bandwidth Motel” in San Diego, Tod Maffin joined Bob (and sometimes Mark) to discuss being a PAB “Lifer”, and also to take a look at how the space has progressed in the last 6 years.

We also discuss the founding of CanadaPodcasts.ca , and Tod helps us with new show announcements. The voice in the background Tod only acknowledges at the very end is Jocelyn Tomkinson, aka Ask A Wheelchair Girl

Did we mention he’s attending PAB2011 ?
