I very much enjoyed this! I’m wondering though if Bruce might get some dirt on himself since there’s no one else to do it.
Bruce: what portable recorder do you use? Sounds great!

Yo James!
I did get some dirt on myself but a little soap and water took care of it. I was, however, involved in a scandal so vile and disgusting that if I had reported on it, the CPB would have to be branded XXXplicit. So, it will have to remain under wraps.
As for the recorder: iRiver ifp-795, XLR to 1/8 adaptor cable, Audio-Technica stage mic (similar to SM-58). I liked that it was very directional so I could isolate one voice out of the din of the trade show floor.

Thank you, Bruce, but how dare you taunt me! There’s still PAB 2007. I have plenty of time to prepare: agents to train, bugs to plant, CPB hosts to brainwash, hotel staff to infiltrate, sex changes to have done… Thank God I don’t do a video cast.
