DECEMBER 1 IS THE (GREAT) CANADIAN NATIONAL DAY OF PODCASTING

Here were the guiding principles :

Thanks for participating!

Let us know that you’ve put an episode out by linking to it in a comment here. If you prepared audio and don’t have a site anymore, email it to canadianpodcastbuffet AT gmail.com, and we’ll post it here for you.

On December 2nd, we’ll post a (hopefully massive) list of all the participating shows – to be sure you haven’t missed any.

Les francophones sont invités a participer aussi, envoyer-nous vos liens!

Keep your earbuds on, this is going to be fun!

I’ll have a new episode of Podcast Ping (http://podcastping.blogspot.com) and The Blue Hot Gossip Comedy Show (http://bluehotgossip.blogspot.com) out tomorrow (Dec. 1st.)

I did a couple other podcasts which I haven’t touched in years, but there was enough work to do on the two most current–and most active–podcasts so I didn’t bother with them. Those never really got very far anyways.

Interestingly, I was looking though my sites and discovered that I’ve been blogging since December 2nd, 2004. I’ve been podcasting since April 2007 or about 3 1/2 years.

Thanks for the inspiration and reminder about why I (we) do this.

For the Sake of the Song– Live from the Ottawa Folk Festival is a special one for me because it combines folk music, songwriting, classic Canadian poetry, and podcasting.

I had a podcast which lasted 7 episodes before life and another podcast took over. It was The Laughing Podcast and was based on the fact that laughing is contagious. Each episode was a recording of someone laughing.

Unfortunately, I am unable to use the original feed for this special occassion so instead, I offer the direct link to the mp3: http://danielerossi.ca/8thLaugh.mp3

Great idea, Mark n’ Bob! n’ Darryl!

I stumbled across this via twitter, just as I’d published my first podcast since October! Just been pushing to revive my podcast in the last few days and am glad I found out about this.

    Here’s the link: http://jdueck.net/article/338/four-front-pockets-with-snaps

Although I live in Minnesota, I’m a dual citizen, & engaged to a beautiful Canadian woman, so I hope that qualifies me ;-)

@JoelD… officially, you must meet at least one of the following criteria to qualify as a Canadian podcast.

    1) Born in Canada (living in Canada or abroad is fine)
    2) Living in Canada/show produced in Canada (any citizenship)
    3) Producing/sharing primarily Canadian content

We will be livestreaming our videogame podcast tonight at 8:30pm ET from http://live.gamesdaypodcast.com – like we do every week.

We are based in London, Ontario, Canada and tonight we’re talking about holiday games and hardware. See you then/there!

We did It! Even though we have released 25 shows since the beginning of our Season 3 this September, we decided to release a Special Edition How-To Podcast show with special honours to Leslie Neilsen, have a listen over at http://www.2fatdads.com/2010/12/dadcast-episode-33-13-podcasting-101-shirley-you-cant-be-serious/.

We love to know if the show helped anyone.

Hey, I threw together a quick episode of my ridiculously irregular podcast toward the end of the night (it’s now 10:45 on the West Coast) — it should eventually live on my main blog but right now it’s up on my posterous page:
