125: It’s not just nerds swearing anymore

Sunday, January 11, 2009 - Filed under: Podcasts

Keith Burtis: Rare Earth (photo by rosefirerising)Bob rattled off a spontaneous tag line for podcasting in 2009 part way through this show.  It really encapsulates the main discussion points: everything old is new again, carving out social media, and taking out the garbage.

And so begins a another calendar year with CPB.

  1. Bill Deys says:

What so you link to PodCamp London but don’t say anything on the show? What do I have to do call in a plug it myself? jk. Great to

  2. Stevie Z says:

    Wait…..does that mean I can’t swear anymore? @$%@!$# !!

  3. I have no idea whether I’ll get to PAB 2009, but at this point I wouldn’t bet on it. Medication side effects made it troublesome even to go to Victoria (which we did) and Whistler (which we cancelled) this month. A cross-country plane flight? Not too likely, but we’ll see how June goes.

Next Buffet, you might want to mention Northern Voice 2009 out here in Vancouver on February 20-21. It’s sold out already, but has some 300 bloggers, podcasters, and the like attending for the fifth year in a row. We have our social media conferences out on the Left Coast too…
