Hi guys – my ears were ringing.

MobaTalk Beta is just about done – the Alpha version showed off the Twitter integration and the high quality video.

Beta is going to have Video, Images, Text, Audio, and Links – the 5 things which are VITAL for Conversations.

We all produce a ton of Content, but we’ve been losing the Context along the way.

I’m in a crunch to get it finished in time to launch at http://HighlightMidwest.org but even if I don’t officially launch there, I’m just a few days away.

Yeah, Bob, it’s still my own pocket (which was empty long ago) ;^) I’ll be on the lookout for some Angels

I think inline in the comments is where most of this type of discussion belongs. Not is some widget in a blogs sidebar. I think that is what is going to make multimedia very powerful. The Disqus plugin allows commenters to leave text or video (via Seesmic) in this manor and there is a plugin from revver to let users do the same via their platform. The trick I think will be allowing people do leave their comment with VERY little overhead, these solutions require you to have an account of some sort to go beyond text. That is their downfall.

As podcasters it’s easy to then use that, as audio or video, in future episodes or to just let that tread continue and we can contribute there as well.

I still think it’s a large step for a lot of people even to just start jumping in in that manor though. On a show like CPB you’d get more response because the majority of the audience is in the “fishbowl” but it other cases “normal” people may not be so quick to jump in and post their voice of video.
