It Takes Two: co-hosting is twice the fun for your Audience! presented by Jack Ward and Shannon Hilchie
Jack and Shannon produce The Sonic Society.
Burns and Allen, Abbott and Costello, Jekyll and Hyde; when it comes to hosting, the word co-host brings twice the interactions, twice the possibility for conflict, twice the fun and more often than not, twice the listenership.
Shannon Hilchie and Jack Ward look at some of the great elements of how co-hosting a show becomes more entertaining, and rewarding on both sides of the microphone than playing it solo – scripting versus unscripting; sharing the work; contrasts and similarities, as well as someone just to help keep the ball rolling on course.

We’re really not usually that tired looking.
And I am the least photogenic person in the world.
I think I was cursed as a child: “All photographs will make you look ugly.”
Even my mother pats me on the head and says, “You look so much better in real life.”
I guess that’s a better choice than the reverse.. *L*

I woke up this morning thinking that perhaps what I need for my podcast is a co-host. Then this afternoon as we were watching (of all things) Firefly I came across this this podcast. Talk about timely.
Despite the absence of the PowerPoint(?) slides that attendees had the benefit of, I found the presentation interesting and entertaining as well as pertinent to my mind set at that time.
Thanks
