We talk a lot about community in Social Media circles. Communities grow up organically around our individual interests; but how do you act as a catalyst to form community? How do we deal with the inevitable problems that arise in communities? We’ve all witnessed times when the community values are breached or sprained; how do we handle those situations when they occur? When someone tries to join a community, how do we make them feel at home?

    I listened to this episode on my way into work this morning and found it very interesting. I’ve been paying more attention to building community more lately. I liked Brogan’s point about making sure that others in the community are recognized as experts and how that takes away some of the burden of having a large community.
