Mark, Marko and Bob at PodCamp TorontoYou may have noticed that episode 88 is two days late. We had a database problem on the CPB website and were unable to publish the show.

Bob was able to fix the problem and — in the process — fixed a problem we had with the CPB page in the iTunes Music Store; shows were appearing but downloads failing since episode 83.

Thanks to Daryl Cognito for his support!

The criticism part was great thanks guys. My favourite oddball comment was that I made too many jokes in my lecturecasts. I replied that well umm, that is just me, and my students seem to like it. Then the guy came back and gave me the ol ‘that’s not professional’. So I came back to him with ‘I have a job and am paid to do it, so I am not an amateur, so, by definition, I am professional…’

Hey guys – great show. I agreed completely about the criticism. On my 7th show someone posted the comment “Two words: train wreck.”
At first I was really ticked off, but then I realized, like you said – no matter WHAT you do someone won’t like it. Then I also realized that they were actually right – it WAS a horrendous show, and every time I put one together now I always tell myself “just don’t make it as bad as Number 7″. So far, so good.
