Ottawa Podcast MeetupThe Ottawa Podcast Meetup was a great success, due in large part to a caravan of folks from Quebec (Montreal and Hull). We had a great time, gave away a copy of The Secrets of Podcasting by Bart Farkas, and three Canadian Podcast Buffet t-shirts.

There’s talk of a meetup in Montreal in late March and a large gathering in Kingston, ON in June.

Is the Kingston, ON meetup going to be the rumored Canada-US Podcasting summit? Where do I sign up for updates?

Great meetup! People were nice and I had a lot of fun. I think there were more mics and iPods on the table than people around it. :-) I’ll send a promo for my show when I’m done with my bandwidth problem.

    Jim –

Yes, the Kingston ON meetup is the “summit” you’re thinking of.

We’re quite excited about it, and while there’s no place to sign up for updates yet, we’re working hard to set that all up.

Any and all news will be posted right here on CPB.

    We’ll keep you posted

    Hey guys-

I had a great time the other day at the meet-up. Hello and thanks to everyone who was there, it was great to put some faces to the names and voices. I’m so down for a meet up in Montreal. Happy podcasting!
