Hey guys, It’s nice to hear you make different things. We love the usual segments that you make, but the phonecast/interview/meetup audio are a great add to an already great show.
Unlike the H2, my Zoom H4 box has no mention of podcasting on it but it has been bought in June. Maybe it has changed since.
Hey Moonah don’t even try it, or we’ll have our lawyers all over you. :-)
Best of luck to Jay and his growing family! You’re already missed man. It’s amazing how many people I speak with at conferences like Gnomedex and Podcasting New Media Expo know his show.
Think of me as your Canadian podcasting ambassador abroad.
Now how can I go about picking up an H2 or H4? Hmmm…guess I’m stuck with this: http://urltea.com/1nd1
Just wanted to add something about the Zoom H4 because I have it. The sound quality and multiple great features are amazing but I do have 1 major complaint. I am not sure that the H2 has fixed this problem, but there is no pause button on the H4 when you record. So let’s say you are recording and your phone rings, or a plane flies by, or a beautiful woman walks by and you want to pause the recording to admire the beauty. You can’t. You can only stop the recording and the next time you record you are starting from a different filename. So each time you pause (read stop) you end up starting a new wave or MP3 file – damn annoying.
That said – the quality for podcasting is SO good, that I’m likely to keep the H4 for MANY years and just deal with multiple files while pausing (stopping to admire all the beautiful people. Gotta love Montreal!
