[...] After an extended summer vacation and a post-production delay, season three of the Canadian Podcast Buffet kicked off when episode 72 was published about ten minutes ago. Nice to hear you guys. Welcome home to the podcast land. Let’s get those canoe-casts going, shall we?
Cheers,
Dave
Glad you’re back!
It’s funny, because I was mulling over what I would love to see you do, and your phone-in guests covered pretty much everything.
I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about community over the summer, and I’d love it if you explored that some more (though I think PAB probably is a perfect example of how you’re already community builders).
I’m glad you’re going to be doing some panel discussions — I get a lot out of those, just hearing about what others do, and I like the interaction of ideas.
Which brings me to the fishbowl — I’m wondering if what we’re dealing with here (or if what might be optimal) is really an interconnected series of fishbowls. You know, connected with something not unlike those long walking escalator terminals in airports, only less depressing.
But I might swim around in a certain fishbowl, and from time to time, I might like to check out what’s going on in another fishbowl. I might swim over there and hang out a bit, and it would be great, and I might get a creative charge or a fresh perspective, but then I have the option of swimming back to my original fishbowl to stay in my comfort zone.
Just a thought. Maybe a flakey thought. But a thought.
And now I’m suddenly craving a tuna sandwich…
Oh, wait, I almost forgot — you need a new drinking game!
[...] As I race to finish Little Gou’s next adventure, I thought I’d mention that Kung Fu Action Theatre was among the new shows listed on the Canada Podcast Buffet. The Canada Podcast Buffet is a podcast about podcasting, perhaps one of the best, and is the hub of the Canadian podcasting community along with the Canadapodcasts.ca listings. I’m very proud to be listed there, and love to listen to the Buffet each week because it’s a great show, and Bob and Mark are just plain fun to listen to. If you have the time, pop over and check them out, you don’t even need to Canadian to enjoy the show! (But it does help if you’re a podcaster!) [...]
awesome, thanks for pluggin’ both my podcasts!
