BOB! Thank you for answering the mystery of how to bring interview channels together in audacity! I am going back right now and fixing the last podcast I did. I hate how it sounds in left and right but could not figure out what to do to fix it. Man, I think I am going to go back to ALL the interviews I have done. Thanks again!

I interpreted the comment about podcasters being a bunch of guys in basements talking to each other a little differently. Most people I talk to still have absolutely no idea what a podcast is, and telling them it’s basically like a radio program you can hear on your computer doesn’t seem to help. So I don’t think it’s that we seem like a close group of insiders: I’m guessing that a lot of people think that podcasting is a contemporary version of CB radio (or, going back even further, ham radio): a bunch of hobbyists literally in basements, literally talking to each other.

This was a great episode. Particularly the questions and comments. I like the idea of finding more Canadian Podcasters to listen to so will try the aggregator as mentioned. On another note (pardon the pun) the PodCamp Vancouver comments and request to Go West, had me singing a particular song (Pet Shop Boys/Village People). Surely I wasn’t the only one. I was going to use it as a backing track with a Darth Vader voice, but as Bob said, “That’s been done”. Maybe Scarborough Dude could lead a karaoke version at PAB. Thanks for a fun show, eh!
