We’ve pushed through and installed the blubrry PowerPress plugin for WordPress.  As you may know we were running PodPress, which was a nice piece of code, but not happy with the new versions of WordPress. I thought we had it working, but a comment from Richard Bell showed me we didn’t.

I was worried about the effort required to make the switch, and if I had known how easy it was, I would have made this change months ago..

Let us know if you see any strange things, and we’ll have the next espisode of the buffet out in the next day or so..

Sorry about the delay in getting CPB episode 144 published.  We recorded it last week and then became focused on finalizing this year’s Podcasters Across Borders conference schedule.

The amazing schedule for PAB09 has now been announced (click here).  Unfortunately, the announcements make the existing recording of CPB-144 irrelevant.  We plan to record a new version and publish it on June 9.

Scheduling a life being what it is, we weren’t able to get a show out this week. But Hey! Flexible scheduling is one of the cool things about podcasting, right?

We hope you enjoyed the presentations from Podcasters Across Borders 2008, we sure did! We look forward to doing it all again next year! Thanks so much for your feedback and suggestions, they are all important to us, and we’ll refer to them when planning the next PAB.

After Mark and I travel to different conferences this weekend, we’re both looking forward to getting back together and starting season 4 (!) of the buffet. Each season, we try to bring something new to the show, and while we have a few ideas already, I was wondering if you, our listener, had any thoughts…. so I’ll put this one to community:

Due to a computer problem, there will be an interruption in the release schedule of the remaining PAB sessions. We expect this will be about two weeks.

Don’t worry. All of the remaining PAB sessions will be released before the summer is over.

Update July 22: Great news!  We’re back in production!!!

Our apologies for the late release of episode 106.  It’s a great show and worth the wait with a great interview and a special guest.

As you may have heard, Ross (Zee and Zed, Dry Shave) had a heart attack and triple bypass surgery last week. We have been in contact with Ross and Karen and have found out what they need and where to send it.
